When your trust has been shattered, it’s hard to imagine how life—or love—could ever feel safe again.
I understand that place, and I’ve walked alongside hundreds of women in it. And I know you can get to the other side—not just surviving, but thriving.
I’m Angie Doel—author, psychotherapist, coach, APSATS trainee, and PhD candidate—and I specialize in helping betrayed partners heal, reclaim their identity, and rebuild relationships that are rooted in truth, safety, and genuine connection. I also work with the betraying partner or addict, the couple as a unit, and the broader family system—helping everyone impacted by betrayal move toward repair and lasting change.
I guide individuals and couples through the devastation of betrayal trauma. I know the sleepless nights, spiraling thoughts, and the ache of wondering, Was I ever enough? Not only that, but I also know the incredible transformation that can happen when clients have the right tools, a safe space, and someone in their corner who truly understands betrayal trauma from the inside out.
I believe in meeting you exactly where you are — without judgment, without pressure, and without rushing your process. My work blends:
Whether your goal is to heal on your own, join a supportive group, work toward repairing your relationship, or decide your next steps, I provide a safe, structured space to help you get there.
I bring together advanced clinical training and real-world experience to create a unique, trauma-informed approach.
Clients describe our work together as transformative, empowering, and deeply validating. You’ll leave each session feeling heard and understood and equipped with practical tools you can immediately implement.
We’ll tackle the hard stuff, but we’ll also celebrate your wins—even the small ones—because every step forward matters.
